Should you fight for something that you want very very badly?
Even though you know that in fighting for that something that you want, you might be viewed as unethical/unscrupulous/just being a plain bitch?
A stranger that I met last night told me to go for it. Follow my heart. Whatever that may be.
Live for today. Plan for tomorrow.
Die without any regrets, were his exact words.
I'm so tempted to heed his advice. Even though deep inside me, I know that such a lifestyle is self-centred, and not Christ-centred.
I want to do what's right. Not what I want most.
Should I or should I not? Am I being too harsh on myself all this while?
Do I really need to lighten up and live life as he said?
Someone please tell me.
I need to know.

"I conceive that pleasures are to be avoided if greater pains be the consequence, and pains to be coveted that wil terminate in greater pleasures." -Michel De Montaigne
Who is more free? The astronaut who is in space, not bounded by gravity, or we on earth who are bounded by gravity? We being bound by the laws of gravity gives us more freedom to do things. We can run. Walk. Eat solid food without catching floating pieces. Bungee jump. Shower.
In the same way, God's laws are meant to give us liberty within some boundaries. Ironically we get more freedom by staying within boundaries. =)
